Welcome To Our Nursery!

Honeypot Day Nursery & Pre-School is situated in the village of Weston Hills, near Spalding, Lincolnshire. The setting opened in 2008 in the old primary school following the construction of a new modern building nearby.

The setting was opened by 2 local parents and as parents ourselves, we recognise the importance of providing high quality affordable childcare in a local community. We feel passionate about our role and expect high standards from each and every one of our team, thus ensuring we can provide good Early Years Education to each and every child that passes through our setting.

We are able to cater for 52 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. Honeypot has an open and fair admissions policy giving access to every family in the community. Children aged 3 years old are entitled to Government funded pre-school sessions from the start of the term after they turn 3. These sessions are available for up to 15 hours per week (30 hours subject to certain criteria) across 38 weeks per year concurrent with the Lincolnshire school terms or as 11.5 hours per week for 51 weeks per year.  Additionally the nursery is registered to provide funded sessions for 2 year olds, subject to certain Government criteria.

This is usually a child’s first experience of care and education outside the home and we aim to make it a memorable and happy one.

It is always difficult to leave your child in a new setting but at Honeypot we have good experience in helping make this transition as easy as possible. Settling in new children takes time and expertise. We build close relationships with our families to enable and ensure each child feels comfortable, happy and relaxed within our nursery.
